MOTION PROGRAMMING

Motion with a clear purpose.

A control strategy starts with the movement the process needs.

When an application depends on motion, the sequence needs to match the process. Before programming, it helps to establish what must happen and under which conditions.

The programming context

This work relates to control programming for a four-axis CNC-type system. The photograph shows a mechanical detail of the application and provides context for its motion logic.

From movement to sequence

Required positions, advance conditions and the relationship between movements belong in the technical definition. They are reviewed with the team responsible for the machine before the programming scope is agreed.

Working alongside the integrator

ALTIVEN develops control programming for motion applications alongside machine builders and integrators. Tell us about the movement your next project needs and how it must relate to the process.

Positions, speeds and advance conditions are defined around the process.
