INDUSTRIAL TRACEABILITY · ALTIVEN

Turn machine data into production evidence.

We integrate data capture, storage and retrieval so you can find a part record when you need it.

For machine builders, integrators and manufacturing plants. Scope, testing and deliverables defined with your team.

01 / YOUR APPLICATION

Two needs. A record that makes sense.

We start with your equipment, the available data and the information you need to retrieve.

MACHINE BUILDERS AND INTEGRATORS

Deliver equipment with defined traceability.

Add production records to the machine you deliver. We agree on signals, fields and tests to give the integration a clear scope.

  • What each machine event records.
  • How information is retrieved and handed over.
  • What ALTIVEN integrates and what your team provides.

MANUFACTURING PLANTS

Find the data when quality needs it.

Retain station information and retrieve the agreed records by part, date or result when production needs a review.

  • Information available on your existing equipment.
  • Data useful to engineering and quality.
  • Defined retrieval, export and retention.

02 / FROM DATA TO AN ANSWER

One part. One record. One search.

Explore how a production event connects to information you need to retrieve later.

  1. Define the event

A reading, a test or the end of a cycle.

  2. Store what matters

Identifier, date, station and result, according to your application.

  3. Retrieve the record

Find a part and review its recorded information.

Interactive simulation with two fictional records. It is not connected to a PLC and is not a performance test. A demonstration of your application is defined using the agreed equipment and data.

03 / A DEFINED ENGINEERING SCOPE

Start with one station. Define the next step.

We evaluate a first, specific application. Before integration, we agree on what will be developed, how it will be tested and what your team will receive.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

Siemens S7 · SQLite / CSV records

Compatibility, volume and operating conditions are validated for each project.

What we define with your team

  1. Equipment and data

Stations, signals, fields and the event that creates each record.

  2. Retrieval and retention

Where data is stored, how it is searched, what is exported and how it is backed up.

  3. Integration and documentation

Supply responsibilities, configuration and interfaces, together with the agreed documentation.

  4. Testing and handover

Acceptance criteria, training and support conditions.

OPERATING CONDITIONS

Define what happens when conditions change.

These points form part of the technical scope and tests agreed for the application.

Communication loss

Behavior during a disconnection, after a restart and when data starts arriving again.

Records and retries

Handling missing identifiers, incomplete data, retries and duplicate records.

Backup and recovery

Ownership, storage location, retention period and how recovery will be verified.

Capacity and access

Record volume, infrastructure, permissions and intervention windows to be defined with your team.

BASED ON YOUR APPLICATION

Connect data capture with what your operation needs.

The following components are evaluated and quoted within a defined scope; they are not automatically included in every project.

Shop floor capture

PLC signals, sensors, readers or vision, according to the required data.

Labeling

Identifiers and label content; Zebra/ZPL integration where applicable.

Search and dashboards

Lookup by identifier, date or result; agreed views and exports.

ERP connection

Review of interfaces, fields, permissions, licenses and error handling with your IT team.

BEFORE INTEGRATION

Questions that deserve a clear answer.

Can this be integrated into my existing machine?

We first review the PLC, available data and access conditions. Identified experience includes Siemens S7; other equipment and versions require evaluation. The proposal defines the necessary changes and intervention windows.

Where is the data stored and how is it retrieved?

We define the location, fields, search method and export according to your process. SQLite and CSV are part of our experience; a centralized database or dashboard requires its own scope.

What happens after a restart or communication loss?

This scenario needs to be included in the agreed design and testing. We define the behavior for disconnections, retries and duplicates, then verify it with the equipment for your application.

Who is responsible for backups and support?

The proposal establishes who performs and verifies backups, how recovery is tested and how long records are retained. It also defines support hours, channels and scope.

Can you connect the information to my ERP?

We evaluate the system, its available interfaces and required permissions with your IT team. The connection is quoted and validated for the specific application.

From the first conversation to a defined scope.

  1. Tell us about the equipment and the data you need to retain.
  2. We clarify operating conditions, interfaces and technical questions.
  3. We prepare a proposal once the scope is defined.

LET'S DISCUSS YOUR APPLICATION

Tell us what you need to bring into operation.

Share the equipment and the objective. We will review your request to clarify the scope and define the next step.
